It was an amazing outing for the ACSJ boys at this year’s SP
Nurture Cup. Many of our boys played in
the individual events and we fielded three teams for the Mixed Team event. For some of the boys, it was their first
tournament ever and they showed tremendous talent, courage and fighting spirit. We are so proud of them!!! Kudos also to the parents who had to shuttle
them to the Singapore Sports School in Woodlands, the venue for the event. The Mummies and Daddies were unceasing in
their support and encouragement of the boys.

ACS (Junior) created history by making it to the finals of
the Team event. There were a total of 53 Teams. Along the way, ACS Junior Team beat Chongfu “3”, Ngee Ann, Ai Tong “1”, Nanyang “1” and Sarawak “A”. It often felt like David meeting Goliath as
many in these teams were experienced, accomplished players. It was also a great privilege to play the
visiting team from Sarawak, Malaysia. We
finally lost to a very strong Chongfu “1” in the finals.

Benjamin placed 5th overall in the U10 Nurture category after winning the consolation pool final.
